so i just got back from the wedding of one of my best friends...
it was totally glorious.. the best weather new england had seen in weeks...
both the bride and groom glowed and were so very happy..
finding true love in your forties.. how amazingly wonderful is that!!!
i had an amazing time with friends i have known for over 25 years. i laughed till i cried, even after all these years, we all find joy together, and laugh like i don't with anyone else!
and from thursday till this afternoon, i consumed a million calories..
yes that is a one and six zeroes!
ha!
ok so i didn't actually count, and that number might be a bit of an underestimate, but lets just say that gluttony ensued! and the food deserved to be eaten in all its glory!
scrumptious tastes, textures smells and flavours.. enough to drive a food-a-holic like myself a bit over the edge... lol
but alas monday is almost here and i will be back on the train.. choo fricken chooo..
so i am editing photos ( and yes scratch photographer from career possibilities) and i see that i danced so much.. that not only is my face shiny, but my dress looks like it is coming apart.. not a neat look on me.. ( scratch super model from career possibilities)... is there enough "retouching" that will make this ok? ha!
maybe it is time to start super imposing stuff...
though most importantly .. the bride is so photogenic and looks beautiful...
i was sitting at the brunch table with a group of very important ( and also lovely people) .. so all of a sudden .. former middle school math teacher didn't sound so impressive...
note to self.. next time tell people you are currently fielding offers to publish your blog as the one and only sportsyenta.. could the movie rights be far behind?
who should i get to play me?? any thoughts? ( nobody better say phyllis diller! heh!)
and oh yeah.. because i need to put some sports in this...
how about those yankees?
they might have just flopped against the sawx's ( OY!)
15-0 against their cross town rivals.. woo hoo! knocked johan santana out in a flash!
ok then.. time to make sure the treadmill works.. for tomorrow the trek begins!
:-)
Gluttony seems like such a strong word. It would have been rude not to try everything...and some things twice. And you forgot to mention how great you looked too.
